The Valpro VPCB-74 refrigerated chef base is designed to maximize kitchen efficiency by combining refrigerated storage drawers with a heavy-duty equipment stand. With a spacious 74” width, it provides 11.1 cu. ft. of cold storage capacity and a flat stainless steel top capable of supporting countertop cooking equipment.
Its rugged stainless steel construction features a 304 stainless steel interior floor, aluminum interior walls, and a raised marine-edge top that prevents spills from reaching the floor. The four full-extension stainless steel drawers ride on heavy-duty Fulterer cartridge slides, allowing smooth operation and full access to contents. Each drawer accommodates various pan configurations without the need for additional rails (note: pans not included, and drawers cannot accommodate 6” deep pans).
The VPCB-74 includes front-mounted digital temperature controls with LED display, efficient ECM fan motors, and an oversized balanced refrigeration system using eco-friendly R290 refrigerant. Automatic defrost and condensate evaporation ensure hassle-free operation, while locking casters provide mobility for cleaning and repositioning.
